If I had to choose one word to represent my style of drawing that word would be "Spring'.
I want people to see my artwork and feel that they're blooming, just like warm spring flowering blooms.
Cottagecore is the lifestyle I have chosen and believe in. It could be because I reside in Seoul the largest city in Korea and I love the natural beauty and rural lifestyle far more than the sights I take in every day.
So rather than spreading intensity rather, I try to convey a serene and serene mood that is similar to what I see in nature.
What's the most important thing to making your illustrations?
First, I'd like to discuss the things that I find inspiration in. I find joy even in the smallest of objects. The blooms I find in a garden or the whispers of a flower that flutter when wind blows or even a tiny blossom at the corner of a street I see as I walk.
My work is mostly inspired by tiny wildflowers. Nature-inspired landscapes taken from ancient botanical encyclopedias and rural landscapes are also a source of inspiration. I have saved a great deal of information through images and usually take notes of colored pencil art ideas.
Then, let's look at the method of working. I create drawings to the level of elaborate details as if they were real flowers , and communicate my thoughts through the use of color.
I use sharp colored pencils that precisely express the shape of the bloom. Then I create a relaxing and warm atmosphere by employing pastels instead of bright shades.
I like also to juxtapose the plain and texture of paper by using the technique of paper flowers for creating an impression of blooming flowers.
In contrast to drawing simply instead, I believe that creating papers with flowers can create a better atmosphere. This is a closer translation from my own imagination.

So far, I've published six coloring pencil instructional books. I also have collaborated with various brands to illustrate. I currently give lectures to students of drawing and am also making products that are sold on the internet as well as in local stores.
