How to get out of Overwhelm as a Coach -

Jun 27, 2024

The majority of coaches I have spoken to feel overwhelmed by everything they have to do.

They're not clear on whom their ideal client is.

There are too many opportunities.

They try too many different ways to create the attention of others and to generate leads.

It's not easy for them to decide how to enroll people into their programs.

There are too many applications that require gluing together using the use of rubber bands as well as Zaps.

They are too concentrated on their clients to exhaust themselves, even though they are passionate about coaching.

Does any of this resonate with you?

There are three types of stress I see coaches grapple in:

The strategy is overwhelming

Clients overwhelmed

Systems overpower

Let's take a look order one after the other.

Overwhelming strategy

If it's about strategy, the coaches are usually confronted with a variety of offers. They're doing too many things to attempt to draw the attention of their clients and gain leads but often, they aren't in a position to determine what sort of client they should choose to pursue.

There's also a lack of understanding of how they'd like to make sales that will bring people to their offerings.

Now, in the beginning you'll begin to experiment. That's okay.

The most important thing is to understand the Five Ones.

Five Ones: Five Ones say that if you are focused only upon...

One avatar

One source of traffic

One deal

One enrollment mechanism

One year

One million dollars of revenue.

until you've reached the million dollar mark, don't even think about including a different avatar, different traffic source, a second promotion, or an extra registration option.

Coaches who aren't making the amount they'd want to believe that they could earn should consider adding more offers as well as more items, avatars, or more sources for clients ... every step of which will extend their reach in order to draw new clients.

It's the exact opposite to fact the situation.

The goal is to make it easier. You must be specific. Choose.

It's not about taking the right decision.

It's all about making a option that's the right one and implementing it.

It's possible to get any of them to perform.

Select one option and keep it until you reach the million dollar mark.

I understand how challenging this can be.

If you follow the correct direction and guidance it is possible to complete any job.

If you've witnessed someone achieve success at it, you're sure that it's a possibility.

Then, it's just looking up the specifics.

Customers Are awestruck

Even though we coaches enjoy working with clients and love coaching however, there are times when it gets too much.

If you're running a number of 1-on-1 sessions with clients it's not difficult to get burned out.

Then you find yourself repeating the same thing repeatedly.

It's an incredible thing flowing out of you in the course of a session with a customer, however you don't know the source of it. The sensation is incredible!

It's a shame that lots of people will not be experiencing your magic as you're describing it during a one-on-one private session!

Certain coaches don't just do the job in a one-to-one manner nevertheless, they're doing their work on behalf of the clients. This is a model of done-for-you.

You can increase your rates so that you get more money to coach, as well as possibly take on less clients.

It's also not very scalable.

What's scalable is group coaching.

Design a plan for groups in which you engage with all your clients simultaneously.

The template, the framework along with live group coaching and even an online community.

Not only do they get you, they also help each other.

That means, when the number of customers increases as does the value of your product.

If you're currently not conducting group coaching, or if a group coaching program isn't your primary focus for your organization, then it must be top of the list, and it should definitely be your "One offer" of your Five Ones.

Systems Overwhelm

Nowadays, it's common to use at least five to seven, eight, or more for running your business of coaching.

Website host similar to Wordpress or Wix

Email Marketing Software or an ESP (Email Service Provider) like MailChimp or ConvertKit

Carts to shop such as Shopify or Samcart

Platform for course creation or LMSs, for example Teachable or Kajabi

video hosting for example Vimeo or Wistia

Funnel software, or the creation of pages such as ClickFunnels or LeadPages

Community-oriented software identical to Circle or MightyNetworks

Scheduler such as Calendly or SavvyCal

Survey Tool like TypeForm or SurveyMonkey

Tracking tool for affiliates like Post or Tapfiliate, Affiliate Pro

Sales Pipeline like Pipedrive or Close.com

CRM such as Hubspot or Ontraport

Zapier is a way to connect the whole thing!

There's some overlap on this list since certain of these tools can do more than one thing.

It is possible that there are other terms that are often used and I didn't mention.

It gets pretty long pretty quick.

It not only adds the cost of a monthly bill and adds in the form of a massive.

Additionally, it adds lots of additional work and your mental capacity.

There's also the stress of having to choose among these options.

Every category is covered and there are many alternatives with each having the advantages and disadvantages and some include multiple categories.

It is important to test the various components, and decide which one to choose. After that, you can figure out what they can do if integrated with other parts in your system.

Then comes the real procedure of the integration.

Do they speak directly with each other? Or must you use Zapier to "zap" them together?

Another problem is that the connections can be fragile.

The break will happen, particularly when you're traveling, and it's up to you (or the staff members if they are one of them and then if they are able to solve the problem) to fix it.

And then there's the emotional range that is created by changing between different programs, every program having its own distinct strategy.

It can lead to a large amount of switching between contexts, and it is necessary to switch your work style every few minutes.

If your logo has been posted in more than four sites, it might be time to consider a better alternative.

With NO zaps.

There's no glue.

No rubber bands.

All your business operations in one place.

As if you were able to spot your house along the border.

All the components communicate easily with each other.

Clients only need only to enter their data only once and you have their details in your database.

Connect the opt-in for them for a time-slot to have a discussion with you.

Easy. Clean. Simple.
