When Jeremy Cohen was just 15 year old, an unexpected family vacation to Yellowstone National Park unexpectedly sparked his passion for photography.

"My father brought me a tiny digital camera that he used to point and shoot," Jeremy shared with . "My sister was taking photos on it, and I thought that they were amazing, so I decided to try it out. I snapped a lot of photos from nature, and it inspired me to enroll in a film photography class in my high school for an elective once I came back home."

That early curiosity to capture his surroundings set the tone for his career as professional photographer. Through the Quarantine roof culture series, to the daily Portrait project Today I Photographed, Jeremy went on to make use of his camera to "uplift and enhance the untold stories of the human condition." And people took notice: Jeremy has built an audience of over a million on social media, and has even been able to scale a successful freelance photography career.

The ability to work from home with an online site

That strategy paid off: "I started to get accepted for small-scale gigs as I gradually progressed until I could eventually work full-time as a photographer freelance."

"I have multiple uses for my website on ," Jeremy says. "It's my main website for viewers to view the very best of the best of my work, no matter if it's my personal work, clients projects, or any other images."

The creation of a website is also a way in establishing the credibility of freelancers. "In my opinion," Jeremy says, "a strong website is essential to photographers for their clients to take them seriously."
