Every artist deserves websites that reflect the beauty and vision of their work. Ceramic artist from Vermont Brielle Macbeth Rovito set up her own website, as well as the online shop Dust and Form, she knew she required an online e-commerce platform which would allow her total control over the way she presented and sold her sculptured works.

"I have explored various hosting options," Brielle told , "and, every time, woos me again--both in simplicity of use as well as in integrated tools that seamlessly translate my overall concept of Dust and Form."

Learn more about how Brielle brought her ceramics business to life by creating an e-commerce website that showcases her own imaginative vision, and helps keep her store online running efficiently.

Translate your artistic vision into an online shop

In the year 2019 Brielle wanted to revamp and launch her store online "with a new body of work that, at the time it felt extremely close and personal."

"I was looking to bring this work outside of the scope I was able to reach, yet in a way that stayed in the spirit of my work" Brielle told . "By making a shoppable catalog this helped to make purchasing easier as well as communication between those purchasing."

Building her online store on has helped Brielle maintain control over her creative vision for Dust as well as Form. It is also important to control the manner in which her work is sold and sold. The philosophy behind her web design can be summarized as "simplicity yet not straightforward."

Prioritize quality website imagery

What's one key aspect of bringing any artist's website to life?

"Imagery," Brielle says. "It's all about image."

This is the path Brielle used when she was building Dust and Form. "If possible, employ others to help you," she says. "I have found that having strong friends who are in my corner is crucial to receive genuine feedback and help in regards to how my business translates online."

The "design and overall essence" of Brielle's website was brought to life through "the amazing creatives of Bodega Ltd. And the stylists and photographers I was able to work together with that brought such lively energy to my work."

"The natural, unhindered finish of my pottery is an essential part of the soft and tranquil forms I seek to create," says Brielle. That same unhindered artistic vision can be seen in the overall aesthetic and design of her website.
