We sat down with three Black customers to talk about their own experiences, their mentors that have guided to get to where they are currently at, as well as their goals and hopes of the future for everyone.
Karl Ferguson Jr.
Karl is an advocate for an idea that the purpose of your work is supposed to be able support your passion up to the point where it can become a part of your daily life. If you asked him what advice he would tell the younger version of him who's starting out in photography, Karl's advice is this: "Don't get so intense that you stop yourself from taking pictures. Be relaxed and having fun with doing what you love is the best method to become a photographer."

The Black Corporate
Social Media Consultant and Ambassador Candace Marie is the founder of Black In Corporate Black In Corporate, a community that acts as the voice of Black employees in the business world. The concept for Black In Corporate was born out of her own experiences in workplaces where racism is a system that has made it more difficult for Black employees to be successful. "While Black In Corporate was result of my personal personal experiences," Candace says, "a significant reason for the founding of the nonprofit was that I realized that there was a lot of Black residents of my community that had similar experiences, even though their experiences weren't exactly the same as my personal experiences."
One of the bases Black In Corporate stands on is its virtual mentorship program that provides Black professionals with access to resources, opportunities and collaboration. The Black In Corporate website has played a major role in communicating the advantages of this program to the intended audience of customers. "While the media and social media can be significant reasons for visitors to the site however the gorgeous style and easy navigation within the site keep our visitors entertained and engaged," Candace says about the benefits of their site.
The phrase "it is a team effort" is particularly true in the case of Candace and her experience of founding Black In Corporate. The company's success was made possible by the help of mentors, sponsors and mentors along with relatives and friends who supported to support her throughout the process of the business. There are many avenues that Candace is now able to provide the same support for Black professionals. "This process isn't enough by itself," she says. "Whenever I can offer some ideas, take part in a panel discussion or even introduce myself anyone who's a good friend I'm eager to assist other Black persons in this industry."

Elton Anderson Jr.
In the course of fourteen months, Elton Anderson Jr. worked as a photographer, which involved taking pictures of famous photographers as well as the top household brands. He made the decision to change his career path after realizing that the profession he'd always been passionate about was becoming less satisfying.
