Creativity runs in the family for the artist and illustrator Kentaro Yoshida. His mother, who is also an artist is a major influence on his artwork, even though she wasn't fully satisfied with his work choices. "First she wasn't happy about my full-time job as artist. She probably knew this was difficult due to her personal experiences. Yet, I decided to give it at it and, in the end, was not disappointed," Kentaro says. "She is my main source of motivation in all my lives."

Kentaro was born in the fishing town of a family in Toyama, Japan, but moved to Australia aged 18 where he lives now in Sydney. After that, and the success that followed, Kentaro has built a full-time career as a freelance artist. He sells prints, custom-painted boards , and murals. In addition, he is dealing with major music labels and also brands.
