"Vancouver is enveloped by stunning scenery, and that's why I took a trip out every morning and tried to take a break in the mountains" Frauke says. While not everyone is in a position to take long treks through the mountains, Frauke's goal is to offer viewers the best possible experience. "I attempt to draw viewers into my images and make them feel like they're there with me in the moment of my capture," she says.

"If 10 people view my images and think"Hey I'd like to connect to the natural world and protect the earth with greater urgency and for the future, that's something worth being proud of," Frauke says.
