 Capturing quality content

To start the process, we reached out the members of our community worldwide creative directors in the Netherlands, filmmakers in the UK animators from Australia, and NGO activists in Nigeria just to mention some.

We then invited them to get on their smartphones, cameras and computers to answer three questions about the coming year:

  •   What's your goal to accomplish in the coming year?
  •   What is inspiring you this new year?
  •   What will be the greatest challenges that you expect to face for 2023?

Their responses spoke to the power of communities, such as this gem by creator director, as well as Soursop co-founder Ravi Amaratunga Hitchcock...

"In individual streams we can limit ourselves However, when we work together we are able to do huge gigantic, enormous things."

...and the limitless possibilities of storytelling. This is a quote from Staff Pick filmmaker Faith Briggs.

"I am not content to make up amazing stories. I'd rather tell stories that matter."

 The post process is streamlined

After editing all of the submissions to video, we knew we wanted to each segment of the video to be able to stand on its own. So, we created a series of supercuts, which feature our most popular responses to the questions mentioned above.

And, to prepare for creating interactivity, the's team set a few ground rules to transform the footage from sizzles to raw footage to an experience that is immersive.

  •   Create an interactive element within the first ten second
  •   Set a timer of 15 20 -:20 interval between each hotspot

Imagine an interactive experience

"Making a video interactive can be about adding value" claims Jen Mendler, a Senior Designer at . "Our group did all the heavy lifting, providing such interesting wisdom on the next year We followed up with a video experience that puts viewers in control. You can choose your destiny for 2023."
