Seven years into her coach career Becky Mollenkamp is honing her skills based on what she has learned.

For the mindset trainer Becky Mollenkamp , choosing to stop following the "shoulds-based" life style has changed everything in her lifeincluding her work.

Her experience spans nearly twenty years of work in the field of entrepreneurship to her work, which included running a multi-million dollar agency in content marketing prior to launching her coaching business in the year 2015.

Recently, we had the pleasure of speaking with Becky to discuss how her company has changed over the last few years as well as review her career as a creator. The company is undergoing a change while she focuses particularly on mid-sized entrepreneurs and their advisors as well as employees.

She has found her niche as a mindset coach

While Becky has been an entrepreneur for more than twenty years, she didn't have coaching ever a component of her business strategies.

"What got me started on the coach's path was my brother passed away in the year 2010 , following a drug overdose. The incident really awakened me out of my bed," Becky explains.

"I was a person who's daily life was comprised mostly of "shoulds," performing the tasks, performing all that you're expected to complete. This made me realize that life is much too short to have an unsatisfactory life that isn't what you truly want."

"I didn't know what I was seeking. But I knew there was nothing like it." Becky remembers. She quit her writing business and returned to her residence with her mom. Following that, she began her journey to determine what she wanted to see in the future.want to be doing for the rest of her life.

Becky began to develop her own writing company. "It was something I knew and something I could succeed in. But, I realized the thing I really wanted to do was help others get rid of the "shoulds'."

Her next step was to coach.

"I discovered that I could assist others going through the same experiences as I've had. That's why I realized this is the thing I'm meant to be doing. That's what I'm meant to achieve."

Her work as the owner of an agency along with her motivation to help others provided Becky's perspective a unique angle that was ideal to coach people's mental state.

"I'm an authority in strategy or as an advisor, however I'm also a trainer. Therefore, I assist people to their own decisions and also to their particular vision of what they'd like to achieve in their personal lives and in their jobs. Then, I help them move forward on that," Becky explains.

In order to help others live their lives in a more full approach, she incorporates her own values in the course. "I'm an empathic coach who works with women. This means I value lived experiences, being trauma-informed. My coaching is about compassion, no shame or blame."

Inspired by her own experience and knowledge, Becky began building her coaching online business but it was not without lots of "shoulds" too.

When asked about the challenges when she started her coaching company, Becky laughs. "There weren't any challenges that I couldn't handle. I'm confident that I've overcome all obstacles."

The battle over "shoulds is being played out here also. "I believe the most difficult matter was the various opinions on the internet community about how your business ought to appear and manage it. This is about what you need to achieve in order to become profitable," she says.

When she looks back, Becky finds this common assumption that business owners who don't begin by committing to full-time work don't have confidence in their skills, and that is detrimental and also an unfair advantage. "I didn't realize that at the time and I experienced a lot of stress and feeling that I was not doing my best job as I had to write to make ends meetto surviveto survive."

She recollects the thought "Why was I not able to make the coaching more efficient and effective quickly? Did something go amiss with me?"

Most people can't afford to get into their business goals fully all the time. That's fine! This is a long process. It's also not an excuse for being unfaithful or a legitimate business owner.

"I was forced to do my own thing in order to release myself from the burden of feelings of shame and guilt, and to recognize that my recommendation that of taking all the world's problems] wasn't suitable for the vast majority of people."

"The most challenging part of the beginning was understanding that I was able to slowly shift from writing business into an entirely new endeavor." The goal of her was to shift her workload up to 25% per year. The first year consisted of 25 percent writing and 25 coaching, with a percentage of coaching. "Honestly that's my first time there's absolutely no writing," Becky tells us.

"That was a long and tedious process. Allowing that and then releasing the guilt burden and letting it go is likely the most effective and effective way to begin your own business, without the feeling of having to join the organization or do not know what their employees can do."

Becky was reluctant to think of her role as CEO. She wanted to understand the importance of her job  as well as to appreciate that the vast is in the grand.

"You may be self-employed or you could be an entrepreneur or be a tiny firm proprietor with only a few consultants . But, as the head that you are, you're the chief executive officer and the one who leads you," she emphasizes.

"It's about being confident that is based on the affirmation which states"I've achieved what I need. I'm capable of doing the task.'"

Today, the mentality of the CEO is the basis for her interactions with clients.

The new policy will have an impact on Becky's earnings and earnings.
