Wonder Jam Wonder Jam is "a family of brands that assist entrepreneurs develop through a method that's heartfelt intelligent, smart and lively" as described in the song which were immortalized by Daft Punk, harder, superior in performance, more efficient, and robust. One of the brands, Wonderly, builds websites and graphic branding software and tools for members to assist clients "set their own mark". I talked to the director of the company Allie Lehman and developer Matt Hart to learn more about the company.

Fine art and free-lance work for freedom

"My experience is in fine arts. When I was in the elementary schools, and did an an abundance of drawing as well as oil painting" says Allie Lehman. "At the high school level, I was taught by an outstanding art teacher who, at first, suggested to pursue a career as an illustrator or graphic artist although I had no idea the terms! I chose to study graphic design and picked to it in the college."

Allie was a student in the downturn in 2009, and worked as a Web Hosting Support. "It was uncomfortable, however, I was able to learn many things about hosting servers, the way WordPress was made available, and each aspect of a web site's presence," she remembers. "In 2013, I created The Wonder Jam, now the parent company for the company. I quit my job in design and started full-time work to run The Wonder Jam."

She had been collaborating along Matt Hart Matt Hart for a couple years before that; he was coding websites, and she would create websites. After that, they started working together much more often: "We've been working together for over 10 years, both initially as freelancers. It was an easy cooperation. The focus now is on service-oriented firms that are building WordPress websites." Allie adds.

Matt begins: "I do primarily WordPress development. It is something I learned by myself at the start of the decade. When there were many people who had to navigate through the WordPress world. The first thought was"We must create CSS so that this theme will have the correct colour scheme'. The theme became boring quick!" He smiles. When page builders like Beaver Builder and Elementor came to the fore They gained flexibility: "We could do things with a custom method that was tailored to the particular demands of our customers and delighted us with the creativity we came up with."

Since their beginnings of collaboration, Allie and Matt have focused on "going to custom at a cost that is affordable" As Matt Matt: "We do only what the clients want and don't do those things our clients don't. This is something that our customers would like to know. They don't want to be awed by this and feel odd. They wish to feel more confident. With these tools, we will be able to attain that."

Allie states: "In 2013, I created The Wonder Jam with my husband. The first time we started was by working myself as an independent freelancer. We employed Matt as an engineer contractor. We had a desire to get work done, we were looking to do the things we wanted to pursue, and were seeking the opportunity to pursue them." The Wonder Jam was born.

Supports, soils, and systems

"We reside in Columbus, Ohio and it's an extremely welcoming and open zone for businesses of all sizes" she declares. "Matt was visiting the city in the summer of 2006 after a trip from Seattle and we started working with local customers. we'd walk along the main street and visit each business we've collaborated with." The year 2020 would be the end of seven seasons with The Wonder Jam and as The Wonder Jam began to become a national phenomenon The company was rebranded as its parent, and now has three brands that are sister brands.

Wonderly is a company that is focused on service which include non-profits, authors and chefs as well as fitness instructors and cooks. The brand also includes Basis that focuses specifically on retail as well as those who sell products and a third brandcalled Studio Wonder, an events location and photography studio situated in Columbus.

Three brands give you an abundance of creativity flexibility: "It allows our team to focus on what they really desire to achieve while also having certain processes that they adhere to," Allie says. "Because Matt and I started working together from the beginning, we have a decade of procedures that we've created. I have photos from 2017, where we created whiteboards at each stage of the process to ensure that our clients receive the most effective assistance.

"The Wonder Jam operates as the "soil" that provides everything an individual business needs to be running quietly. Every sister brand has the ability to spread according to its own style and profit from the possibilities that emerge. It allows each of these paths to be straightforward and clear of obstructions that could cause problems when running a singleor two-person company," Matt continues. "We are a collective of companies that work together."

For example, The Basis branding is focused around Shopify in addition to shopping online, however, sometimes people want to get involved in blog-based and provide something stronger than the one Shopify might offer. This is the reason Wonderly is there to assist clients of Basis clients through the steps that are related to WordPress. "We can support and work together and function as a team However, each of them can be tailored so that it is fun for all of us," he smiles.

"The Wonder Jam sits as a supportive foundation; no-one can tell which partners to use or what amount of profits we could earn and that's all dependent on the managing partner of the business," continues Allie. The companies share resources such as software and system for managing projects, and provide a choice for customers. The managers are able to organize projects. The team members take on the responsibility for the project and handle all administrative backend, including invoicing and contracts.

"It aids people like Matt as well as me to focus on their job." Allie smiles. "I think we've built the perfect environment for working in; it comes all the way to ensuring our clients get a good service. When customers contact us via email, they're assured that they will receive timely answers and the feeling of getting a good service through the entire process."

Matt is of a similar mind: "We say we don't design for you, we design things together with you. We're not going on the road and creating something by ourselves. We get together often and show them the process from start until the very end. This is not like going to our craft rooms and making things on our own!"

Clients and contexts

Matt and Allie collaborate with lots of diverse organizations who require their website to be found across a variety of ways. "Some among our customers include nonprofit organizations. They tend to be very robust sites. Most likely, they're too complicated, or they've existed for some time. So, we generally consolidate or condensing the sites so they can be simpler," Matt explains.

"We're engaged with individuals who want membership sites similar to people who work in the field of food," Allie continues. Wonderly's clients tend to be people who do human-service-oriented work: "They're fighting for equality, they're looking to talk to their audience a little differently. It's not unusual for us to partner with people who have invested huge amount of their own energy, time, and their money into their venture," she adds.

Wonder Jam Wonder Jam brands work in partnership with many different organizations that range from national charities to one-person entrepreneurs transitioning to full-time employment from their side company. "We've worked hard to develop solutions that meet the requirements of every. We're trying to determine the right scale which is most effective and the things to consider in a different manner when the scale differs drastically. There's a lot for us to discover!" Matt smiles.

The author states "With non-profit organizations usually, they have a structure in place and have already figured out the legal hoops they had to cross. This can be done since we're not trying to make an entirely new beginning." The team can change the context and figure out what context might move somebody to give a gift and then ease this process.

In the initial phase of the collaboration and all customers who are part of the partnership regardless of the type of business they run or the dimensions of their website. Wonder Jam team discusses the idea of creating a positive customer experience. "A site can serve as a tool that is efficient in purchasing, however, it could also prove effective in attracting customers to come back and also serve as a resource. People often ask, 'Is it is a resource, or could it assist in creating VIPs? Which are the best clients for small-scale businesses," Allie explains.

Matt as well as Allie Both share the view that websites don't necessarily have to be everything to everyone. They believe that it's important to think strategically. "Whenever we're making a website that is a membership-based website, the number one factor we're considering is the desire for users to return and continue to visit it all the time as well as to believe that it's the most rewarding experience they've had," Matt adds.

Case studies: Simi and Molly

Allie starts by saying: "One of our clients, Simi Botic, has an exercise facility and a part in Unmeasured and is centered focused on body movement. This is called"the Barre Method. Simi is a kind and compassion-based method of "Just Be" instead of trying to "punish" your body. There's a myriad of alternatives that are based on your flexibility."

When Simi was first beginning her journey with Wonderly there was just a tiny amount of videos on the website and were changed each week. "It allows things to feel more organized and allows Simi to ensure that she is able to work with her schedule" Allie confirms. "After about two or three years, we increased our membership and gave her the chance for greater value the people that she helps. It's an amazing thing. We're thrilled to be at a point of change in our strategy as our customers need change. We're in the process of reassessing our layoutand are doing minor tweaks before we implement the new strategies into our process of development."

Another customer, Molly Baz, wanted to change her platform in order to make it more distinctive and brand-name. "Her design style for branding is flexible and unique to her. She wanted her followers to live with her' through sharing recipes, news and other content along with the type of content they're used to, but with a style that seemed real and authentic to her personality," Allie explains.

Molly's network has become important for her. "To change it into a layout that's in the same fashion as her style in addition to changing the web page from 'Oh, yes There's a picture of Molly and you can download her cookbook', to something much more meaningful in and outside of the membership. This adds up to the most valuable thing you can get" Allie muses.

"Something we've tried to accomplish with each of our clients is to consider what the future will be like for them when they're not in contact regularly with us. We try to ensure they've got the appropriate equipment to use our tool that we've developed for them and Molly's experience was a wonderful example of this." Matt agrees.

Further details are available along with the plans for the future

Matt and Allie have been working on web-based sites and companies that need "a significant amount of accessibility" for those with disabilities. "We're working with truly amazing groups who are working to create these sites and prototypes. These are being vetted by various categories of users."

A majority of them believe that they've experienced a great deal of luck with their relationship with their customers "It's an absolute joy for me to work with truly amazing individuals. Clients we deal with are exceptionally thoughtful, and they always make us feel appreciated," Allie concludes. "We enjoy the privilege of working with fascinating people who have values that drive their job. It's an honor to make things for the benefit of their clients," Matt smiles.
