"I was drawn to this business due to my spouse Alejandro and another part of Magicoders is the fact that we work in all our projects with one another," starts Tamara, co-founder of Magicoders. Alejandro was pursuing his dream job at Siemens which is a German technology company. He got promoted to director of the regional office for Latin America, but he desired to move on. "Corporate job wasn't ideal for the man. He was a blind man in the dark and absorbed the knowledge that had been created by Siemens in the last 20 years." She continues.

"We created our own business by working remotely prior to the time you needed to explain how you work!" She smiles. "After the epidemic, virtually everybody is aware, however our company has been operating since more than fifteen years."

Tamara and Alejandro provide WordPress development services, even at a time when WordPress wasn't popularly used. They began working on platforms that connect freelancers with customers. Their first platform to collaborate with was Elancer after which, as they gained the knowledge they acquired and proved their worth, they moved to more premium platforms like Codeable.

"I did the marketing and the project management and then began to develop slowly, until the point where we now are each working on development," she adds. It was, however, not the most recent versions of Magicoders. "We had been dreaming about working from Uruguay in addition to Argentina as well as from other countries where there are family and friends from Brazil, just having an internet connection. We'd decided that it was something we'd like to do, and continued to do it till we became full-time freelancers" She reflects.

Products, services and work examples

Magicoders concentrate on WordPress and membership websites, however, they offer "pretty all the things in between from complete site build through to specific projects" She says. One area in which they are able to excel is with complex and multifaceted projects that have numerous moving elements.

"Plugins require communication with each the other. If something happens in one plugin then it's expected to happen in the other plugin will occur, however it may not occur for all situations. It is our job to find the bridges, and then the connections between them." Tamara explains. "We can help connect everything."

Magicoders create "mini-systems" connecting different components to each other. As a website grows bigger, the more number of plugins you have as well as the more moving parts that need to speak to each other. It is inevitable that this may cause some issues.

Magicoders build mini-systems connecting different components together

"WordPress development is different from other systems in which a single entity is accountable for every component. In WordPress every plugin could be designed by a distinct business, so naturally there's a chasm between the hyperlinks. We work out how we can alter them to make them perform exactly what they're supposed to do."

"We're developing a membership site currently and it is plugged into the social network plugin. Our client must be able to access certain features only if you are a subscriber, but BuddyBoss is not an option to join. It is our policy to make sure that you are able to access certain functions if you've been enrolled in an active subscription. We developed a backend system that allows users to access the subscriber lists and also features that allow individuals to opt out of subscriptions," Tamara continues.

Magicoders Magicoders work together with Elasticsearch specifically to help massive websites. It also supports API integrations. If you have an existing WordPress website, and also an email database, each when people sign up as active subscribers is a chance to forward that information into the CRM.

"We have a client of ours that is an audio podcaster. He has hired us to customize the way the Podcast RSS feed displays the content of the name and description in a dynamic manner, based on who the subscriber is," she says. If you're a subscriber, you can see protected content and if you're not, then you won't be able to. However, in this instance Magicoders are required to secure the content available to every user in certain scenarios, as well as allow everyone access to content that is protected under particular situations. "We're in the process of creating sites for membership in specific methods," she says.

We think that some membership-based plugins in the WordPress ecosystem are excellent they generally cost no money, however they lack the ability to be customized and to continue to communicate via other plugins. "This is the area where Magicoders could help! As well as WooCommerce, membership-based websites are our forte," she smiles.

Another example would be an AndroidIntel.net client of AndroidIntel.net who had a specific requirement: every time users signed up, a counter would start noting the amount of time to each person who accessed certain functions. Magicoders developed a live mapping of the journeys they took: "She had built this design of a roadmap with diverse colors and icons that we later realized the concept she believed in."

Future of Magicoders

"We have a wonderful planned project coming up that is to build an enormous membership site. The site is having difficulty keeping up with the activity in their server, so we'll utilize the externe SaaS service (in this instance ) to take care of a large portion of the interactions that would be handled by the WordPress server, and to eliminate the issue." Tamara and Alejando will also be moving their client's podcast to an exclusive feed in order that the media business will be able to monetize the premium quality of the podcast.

Tamara and Alejando have been working with Codeable for eight years now

Alejandro's profile as a coder on Codeable

Tamara and Alejando work on Codeable since 2008 and have completed more than 1450 projects and have a remarkable rating of 4.99. "We have an enthralling customer review record that are on our site. It provides a glimpse of the kind of service we offer. We're extremely interested in listening to our customers and their needs. We think with a sense of humour and are proud of dealing with different problems and identifying the most efficient way to proceed," she adds.

We agree that, when there are numerous involved parts in an undertaking If you're not careful, you can make it even more complicated. "Actually the thing you ought to do is to reduce the amount of work to make the procedure simple to the person buying the product," she concludes with a smile.
