The best way to overcome the overwhelm of a coach

Jun 27, 2024

Many coaches I've spoken to feel overwhelmed by every task they're expected to accomplish.

It's not easy to determine who their ideal customer is.

There are way too many bargains.

They try too many different ways to get the attention of others and ultimately lead.

It's unclear how for them to sign up people in the program.

There are many different applications which require connect using rubber bands and Zaps.

They're too focused on their clients to eventually burn out even if they're committed to the coach they work with.

Do any of these subjects relevant to your interests?

The following are the three types of overstress I often see coaches struggle with:

Overwhelming strategy

Astonished Client

Systems overpower

Let's take a look one at a time.

Strategies Overwhelm

When it comes to strategies, the majority of coaches are juggling too many options, they're trying to do too many things in order to try and get the attention of leads and entice them to take a look but often, they are unable to choose which type of client to go after.

Also, there's a lack of clarity on how they want to promote their services to attract clients to sign-up for their services.

Now, in the beginning you'll begin to experiment. That's okay.

However, you'll want to master the Five Ones.

Five Ones: The Five Ones claim that you should pay attention to...

One avatar

One of the main sources of traffic

One deal

One enrollment mechanism

One year

One million dollars of revenue.

If you're not yet at million dollars and you've reached your million dollar mark, do not even consider creating a second avatar, a different advertiser, a new traffic source or even an alternative enrollment method.

Coaches who aren't making their desired amount of money believe they should add more offerings, as well as adding more items, avatars and more sources of traffic ... all to expand their market so they can attract more clients.

Actually, the reverse is it's the opposite.

It is essential to focus the searching. You must be precise. Choose.

It's not just about taking the right decision.

It's all about making the choice that is the right one, and getting it done.

You can make any of them perform.

Pick one, and stick to it until you reach the million dollar mark.

I'm aware of the difficulty of this.

By following the proper direction and guidance with the right guidance and direction, you can achieve anything you want to.

If somebody else has been successful with this approach, this is possible.

The next step is finding out the specifics.

Client Refusal

As much as we coaches love coaching and love our clients, there are times when it's just too much.

When you're doing lots of one-onone sessions with clients, it's not hard to get tired.

The same thing time and time yet.

You know this feeling of amazing energy flowing out of your body during a session, and I don't really know the source of it. The sensation is incredible!

But now you're bummed that a lot of people don't get the chance to enjoy the amazing tale because you're sharing this story in a private 1:1 conversation!

Some coaches not only do their work in a 1:1 manner, but they're working on behalf of the clients. The model is done for you.

And yes, you can boost your prices in order to get more money to coach, and maybe take on fewer clients.

But it's fundamentally not easily scalable.

Most effective and scalable approach is to conduct group coaching.

Make a group strategy in which you collaborate with customers in a group.

The framework, the template along with live group coaching as well as a community.

It's not just about you however, but also the other.

That means that when your customers' numbers increase as does the value of your service.

If you're not already doing group coaching, or even if a program for group coaching isn't the primary focus of your business, then this should be the first item you think about as it will be one of the "One offer" of your Five Ones.

Systems are overwhelmed

These days, it's quite common to own (or seven), five (or seven), nine, or even more different instruments to run your coaching company.

Webhosting like Wordpress or Wix

Software to send email marketing or an ESP (Email Service Provider) like MailChimp or ConvertKit

Shopping cart like Shopify or Samcart

Course platform or LMS such as Teachable or Kajabi

Video hosting for example Vimeo or Wistia

Funnel software, or page builder like LeadPages or ClickFunnels

Software designed for communities like Circle or MightyNetworks

Scheduler like Calendly or SavvyCal

Tools for Survey similar to TypeForm or SurveyMonkey

Affiliate tracking tool like Tapfiliate or Post Affiliate Pro

Pipeline for sales like Pipedrive or Close.com

CRM such as Hubspot or Ontraport

Zapier is a way to join them all together!

There's a little similarity in the list as some of these tools do more than one thing.

There are other terms that are often used and I didn't list.

It gets quite long fairly quickly.

The bill does not add to the cost of a monthly charge.

It also implies that you will have a large amount of mental bandwidth.

The first issue is fatigue from deciding on all of these possibilities.

In each of the categories listed there are many alternatives that each has some advantages and disadvantages. are in multiple categories.

It is important to test them in all of them before you decide the one you prefer. Find out what they'll do when integrated with the other stacks you have.

It's then time for the link.

Are they able to speak in a native way, or are you required to utilize Zapier in order you can "zap" them together?

It's another issue and the connections are brittle.

They'll break, especially during your vacation and it's your responsibility (or your employees should they be one and in the event that they are able to solve the issue) and then to fix things right.

And then there's the psychological bandwidth involved in moving between applications, each performing things in a different way.

This causes a lot of switching between contexts, which means you have to alter your working manner each minute.

If your logo is being displayed on more than four different sites you might want to look at a new option.

With NO zaps.

No glue.

There are no rubber bands.

Everything you need to run your business from one place.

As if you were able to find your house on the border.

And all the parts talk easily with one another.

The clients will only have to input their data one time, and then you'll know their data in your database.

You are able to link to the opt-in page and let the user schedule an appointment with your to talk about strategies.

Easy. Clean. Simple.
