Capturing high-quality content

This was the first time we reached out to our community of talented people around the world, including creative directors from the Netherlands as well as filmmakers in the UK animators from Australia and NGO activists from Nigeria only to name few.

They were then asked to hop on their phones, cameras, and computers to answer three questions regarding the year's events to come:

  •     What's your goal for the upcoming year?
  •     What are you inspired by in the New Year?
  •     What are the most significant challenges that you expect to face in 2023?

Their answers were a testament to the power of communities like this gem from creator director, of the film and Soursop co-founder Ravi Amaratunga Hitchcock...

"In the individual streams that we have, we're able to just accomplish a small amount, but when we work together, we can do massive, massive and massive feats."

...and the endless possibilities of the art of storytelling. I love this line from Staff Pick filmmaker Faith Briggs.

"I am not content with making up stories that are amazing. I prefer to tell stories that matter."

 Streamlining the post process

After editing all of videos uploaded, we realized that we wanted each part of the video to stand as its own. Therefore, we came up with Supercuts with our top responses to the above three questions.

To prepare for interactivity, the's team developed a list of fundamental principles that could transform the footage from sizzles and raw footage to create an immersive experience.

  • Add an interactive element in the initial 10 seconds
  • Let 15 minutes to  20 between hotspots

Imagine an interactive interaction with the user
