What would you say about the style you prefer?

If I were to describe it objectively it's all my interests, with a cup of surrealism for the weird unreal bit, the addition of impressionism as I enjoy seeing strokes of paint and a little bit of fun, and a number of basic ideas on the side of the apparent shapes, lines and designs.

In describing the process poetically,it can be a way to connect myself with everything else. As much as we like to leave a lasting impression of the world the thing that makes our work unique is that we put our own personal identity into the work.

What is the key in creating your art?

I take my time and, although often anxiously sometimes too much, I find there is beauty in this approach.

In this age of information and social media that makes us feel as if we're in competition with other people with our works and art creations each and every single day, it's very easy to get lost and forget the type of art you'd like do and what kind of artist you'd like to become.

What's your history?

Hi, I'm Gregg, an independent illustrator who hails from the Philippines. I'm also a clay sculpturer as well as an toy maker, and a excellent cook, however only when I feel like it.

I was a student of arts at the Philippine Women's University and at the University of the Philippines. I also attended classes in construction, welding, physical metallurgy, and mortuary sciences in trade schools in between my university years.

The somewhat messyway that I developed my personal style reflects how my mind works as well as the overall state of my being. I would like to devote greater time and energy to my core interests, but due to current global events, I create illustrations for children and artwork specifically for children.

My work can be seen through Instagram.
