Jan 6, 2023

Millie Adrian is on a task to train new social media influencers on how to earn money on Instagram.

The passion she has for making content was discovered during her early days. In 2008 she launched YouTube channels alongside her brother that lasted for nine years. "It was purely for amusement," she says. "We created humorous videos, skits and mock-ups , and experimented on different ways to live our lives. ."

After she was offered an executive job at age 21 and was bored by videos and the opportunities for creativity that it gave her. So it was that she decided to give it an attempt with her Instagram blog alongside the regular work schedule. She claimed to be an lifestyle blogger, and she posted posts on "anything as well as everything" posting photos of travel, food and fashion such as coffee, wine, books and even her pet.

The Instagram account @itsmodernmillie rapidly grew when she received a lot of queries from her readers. They were interested in knowing why her account had grown and why she took certain photos, and how she managed to achieve such a large number of followers. In order to provide her readers the most accurate solutions, she made the decision to launch an additional YouTube channel. "My YouTube had been growing. Then, the following year, my Instagram started to grow which created an entire result that helped many more," she explains. "I determined to determine which platform was the most popular and run using the one that was able to achieve the highest results. But they really just connected naturally on a ."

In October, she resigned from working in the corporate world, and became solely responsible for all material. Sincethen, she's accumulated an Instagram followers of 117K, and a YouTube channel that has 246K users, and following the online class's launch in 2021, she enrolled 600 students and made more than $400,000 USD. "Next year I'd love to reach the seven figure range."" she says with a smile.

Here are 10 methods she made more than six figures during the first six months she spent making money through her online courses:

Skip ahead:

  1.       Her gut instinct was her instinct.
  2.       She has offered three different courses

  9.       She battled burning out
  10.       She stays constant

HTML0 She was able to trust her intuitions

As a part of the job she was assigned, Adrian created content for Instagram and Youtube at weekends. It was a chance to reignite the flame of her creative spark after she realized she was longing for the time to do it.

She loved her job between 9-5, she began experiencing an uncontrollable "gut feeling" that she wanted more. "I could not sleep as my subconscious was telling me that I was capable of dreaming higher," she shares. "I realized there was more for me out there ."

She decided to leave her position after consistently making more than 50 percent of the money she made in her current position as a content creator for a business. "Everyone is going to have their own set of requirements to think about when making the shift," she says.

When she achieved this objective, when she quit her job and decided to pursue self-employment on the 4th of October 2019. Thanks to the encouragement from her supporters and a lot of time, she decided that the next step of her adventure was the creation of an online course.

She also announced three-course

In the present, Adrian has three courses which she's offering The Modern Influencer, which is her highest-ticket course with an estimated cost of $997 USD. It also includes Email List 101, which is her mid-priced course at $297 USD. In addition, The Reels Roadmap, which is her cheapest course with only $97 USD. The courses she offers will help you improve your web presence as a maker, though the contemporary Influencer is her main field of study.

The initial plan of the Modern Influencer was a course that launched in the month of of the month of July. The program started as a six-week session to receive group coaching for $597. After that, she was able to change the program to an individual coaching plan. However, Adrian found that she did not have enough time to instruct hundreds of students in one-on-one instruction. The decision was made that she would turn the Contemporary Influencer into a pre-recorded class instead.

Looking for the perfect platform to host courses online, She was attracted by her prior experience of various online courses . Being a student was one of her top choices.

"From students' perspective it is the most efficient method of learning and it is also the most simple."

Alongside offering the three courses, she now has additional items that are available for purchase to increase sales. These include Pitch Templates for Email, Pitch Templates, Pitch Slide Deck Template, Kit Guide for Media Kit Guide as well as 100+ Caption Ideas.

She conducted market research to identify the most affordable cost.

To determine the price of the Modern Influencer, the Contemporary Influencer performed market analysis. She wanted to know the prices other creators charged for similar types of content. It was also the subject matter she co-created together with her colleagues. "I studied what they were teaching in conjunction with my own method of teaching," she says.

"I could never discover a school that could provide instructions on how to use Instagram as well as brand collaborations. I merged both of them," continues Adrian. "That's my way of learning how to calculate the right price ."

She developed her content in response to what her target audience would like to see.

Adrian created her courses, and adapted them to the message she was trying to communicate and the programs that weren't readily available.

She asked the audience how many of them have taken an Instagram class on Instagram and also the things they'd love to have, but couldn't. After that she devised The Modern Influencer's course using "brain-dumping" the information she's learned into sticky notes. "The table turned out to be a mess from the sticky notepads" she laughs.

These sticky notes were laid out by the writer beginning with the alphabet starting all the way from A to Z. They included everything needed to go from being totally ignorant of Instagram to an active content creator. Each A Topic was turned into sections as well as additional sticky notes were transformed into lesson plans. Though she states that her class is primarily focussed on Instagram however, the platform is constantly changing and each year she'll add more lessons. In addition, she could imagine adding lessons on YouTube and TikTok because they're what the users want from them.

Her courses include a range of mediums. She alternates between video clips of her slideshows that talk screen, slides, and recordings. "It all about the subject and the way I believe learners will be able to learn from the information," she says.

In addition to that, her videos are entirely pre-recorded, with the exception of an occasional Q&A that she hosts in her Facebook group.

She is constantly improving the experience of her students

The Facebook Group Facebook is where the Modern Influencer students are added. Students have access for life to the group. The group also has a forum where they can ask any queries regarding the development of the material.

Apart from the group on Facebook, she's also been trying out different ways to keep people interested about The Modern Influencer She's considering the development of the Modern Influencer certification to show that they've taken the course and have earned the status of an accredited influencer. Furthermore, she'd love to help connect people who've earned the award with brands that have agreements and a checklist for PR. "I am not looking to become an agency. Just want to support individuals who want to take that subsequent step." the woman says.

She also wants to give students the possibility of becoming an affiliate of the class which means that Adrian offers students a portion of tuition if they refer students. "Those are just some suggestions which we're looking at as we try to develop strategies that will be most efficient to be used in the coming session,"" she explains.

She was kind by sharing her knowledge

Her followers are young influencers who are commonly described as those who produce content and want to have their company's profile on the internet. account.

"I do not work with corporations or any other person who isn't keen to be in the limelight since a large part of what that I utilize is creating your own personal relationship with your viewers through a camera" she states.

Similar to her students having Adrian's presence in an audience was essential for her to step out of her comfortable zone. But, as she said, "you don't grow from your comfortable zones."

She says she's developed her following through investing into her education. "For some time, I was able to take part in webinars on a free basis while I was studying how other attendees were doing," she says. "I quickly noticed the change in my life when I began purchasing online courses that provided me with the results I was looking for. ."

Her best advice for creators of content in building their fan base is to share their ideas regarding what they'd like to publish; she strongly believes that creators shouldn't be the information gatekeeper.

"Don't hesitate to make available any information you've gathered and pass on your expertise." have.Once I said , 'no way' and began giving every information I knew about and without the intent of getting the money I was able identify my students."

The designer created an essential sales funnel

To avoid being scared by sales funnels with fancy designs, Adrian decided to keep the funnel as simple as possible.

Just a few months prior to the launch of The Modern Influencer The wait lists were created using the Google form. Then, she included the list on her website together with her social media sites. After she had began the course the course, she received a warm welcome from many people who were eagerly awaiting the confirmation emails.

She recommends that course creators should not let sales funnels that intimidate buyers. It is suggested that they design a funnel that simple, such as waitlists, which will help build leads that can make people more likely to purchase their course once it launches.

The instructor offered freebies to any course.

The funnel for sales of Adrian is now a bit more complex and contains gratis material that corresponds to the courses she instructs. "When people download the freebie , or participate in the course information, they're then added to an email-based automation system where it will sell them more products through email messages" she said.

For the modern Influencer her, she offers a 60 minute webcast that provides an Instagram strategy for 100 days - that is i.e. everything you need to do for reaching 10,000 followers, and earn $1000 in just 100 days. After the course, participants will be urged to purchase the entire program.

Inside The Email List 101 course, you are able to download a no-cost 10-page pdf that teaches people how to start, build and maintain an email list. To take advantage of the Reels roadmap, there's an uncost-free resource to help people increase views as well as draw attention to their reels and make sure that their reels are viewed by millions of viewers.

She fought off burnout

Although Adrian's business has grown fast, it's been with a cost of her mental health.

While she worked hard in pursuit of her dream job however, she was at the mercy of working too much. "I did my best to get my work done every second of each and every morning." she says.

After suffering from anxiety attacks and burnouts over many months after the beginning of her course she determined to engage an outside team to assist in managing her business. "If I fail to produce the content I'd like to create, my business dies," she explains.

Now, she has an online business manager, funnel strategist, an engaging and expert in community as well as a virtual assistant video editors, and experts in collaborations with brands as well as an SEO specialist , as well as a Pinterest manager. With the help of a team, she's been in a position to set more rigorous personal and professional limits on what she does for her own needs. The result? An increased ability to focus in creating content rather than becoming a growing weed. "I've discovered certain aspects of myself so that I'm not at the point of no return," she says.

She's constant

One of the most significant aspects that Adrian learned during her content development journey, as and the experience of burnout she experienced - is that it is a marathon not a race. Adrian advises all content creators to adhere to this approach specifically, so that they can avoid burning out and to create an organisation that will endure.

"You're taking the long view," she explains. "You do not need the results instantly or have immediate satisfaction."

She suggests that companies tackle the company on a daily basis, but in smaller portions. "It doesn't have to be all things go on all at once," she adds. "This is the game lasting. If this is what you're seeking to achieve you should improve by one percent every day. If you achieve this goal by concentrating on just one aspect in the span of 3 years, you'll experience far more success than any else who attempted to tackle every aspect simultaneously. ."

One of her biggest accomplishments has been the achievement of getting the YouTube Play Button which is an award given an honor to one of the best YouTube channels. "It was a complete circle experience for me," she states with smiling. "I wish to go back in time to my youth and share with twelve-year-old Millie that those dreams that were in her head might come true. ."

A second thing she would like to would revisit from the past is to remind herself of being convinced in this process. If someone else has ambitions to be an author on the internet, she recommends you focus on the benefits from slow and steady expansion. "Don't think about what the timeframe will be," she advises.
