In this section I'll explain exactly how our Member Content Team effectively uses Strive to manage our workflow for blog posts. With several writers contributing to six blogs creating an efficient and controlled workflow is super crucial.

Thankfully, Strive offers two amazing options to make life easier and help ensure a seamless process. We'll look at how to make use of these features:

New Drafts

The right-hand part of the Content Calendar page, the " Add New Draft" can be the launchpad for your next blog.

We use the Title field to indicate the assigned writer by including their name in the post title.

Strive's vibrant color system does more than just add visual appeal but it also acts as a powerful tool in our blogging process.

Each color is a particular stage in the workflow, allowing us to effectively explain the next steps and the responsible people. Here's how we utilize these colors:

  1. Not started (Red): When I make a New Draft the system automatically takes the Not Started status in a bold red hue. This signals to the assigned writer that the blog post is now ready to write.
  2. writing (Orange): Once the writer has begun writing the draft, they change the status of their post to writing, and are accompanied by an eye-catching orange shade. The change informs me that the article is still in the process.
  3. Editing (Yellow): When the draft is complete and is ready to be reviewed, the author changes the post's status to Editing, represented by a bright yellow hue. It informs me that the blog post needs my attention to review as well as revisions.
  4. Final (Green): After I've completed my edits and decide that the article is now complete, I switch the status to Finished. Post box immediately changes into a reassuring green color.

Green has a significant role for us, as Strive has an alternative setting which automatically posts any Complete (green) article in accordance with the date and hour in WordPress Editor.
