"Nick was sitting against the church's wall. He was being dragged by his family to stay free of gunfire in the street. The legs swung out in awkward ways. The man was hit in the back. His face was hot and filthy. Sunlight glowed over his face. The day was very hot...The brick walls that were pink of the opposite house were missing from the roof. An iron bedstead was hung in a twisted fashion towards the road. . "
Vignette vs. Short Story
